Car catches fire after petrol leakage near Karkala

Karkala, Aug 21: A car caught fire after a petrol leakage incident near Sanur petrol bunk on National Highway-169 in Karkala.

The mishap occurred around 1 pm on Thursday August 21 when a car (KA 04 M 1166) heading towards Moodbidri suddenly caught fire, leaving the vehicle completely damaged.

The car had reportedly been purchased by Ayaan from Banglegudde from another individual.

Upon receiving information, fire and emergency personnel rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames. The operation was led by fire station officer Albert Monis, assistant station officer Chandrashekhar, and fire staff Achyut Karkera, Dinesh, and driver Jayamoolya.
