Mangaluru, Aug 13: The countdown has begun for one of the city’s most eagerly anticipated musical events — Kallza Umalle 2.0, a spectacular musical concert presented by the well-known compere and event organiser Floyd D’Mello Cascia.

The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, August 15, from 5 pm onwards at the St Agnes Centenary Auditorium in Bendur, Mangaluru.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Floyd D'Mello shared his excitement and provided updates on the ongoing preparations. He revealed that the initial rehearsals have been successfully completed with careful planning and coordination.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm response from the public, he said, “The music lovers are already sending me wishes and confirming their attendance with pride and delightfulness. It shows how much our community values musical concerts and supports local talent. I am excited to welcome the audience who will grace this event with the shared motto of experiencing something unique. Everyone is welcome to attend — and entry is absolutely free.”

The concert will feature a stellar line-up of some of the most popular names in Konkani music, including Robin Sequeira, Rynel Sequeira, Joshal D’Souza, Jason Lobo, Sonal Monteiro, Rolston Pinto, and rising star Jiya Mendonca.

The musical arrangements will be in the expert hands of Rajesh Moily, Rajendra Bably, Ralph Roshen, Vijay Noronha, and Prajwal Fronteiro, who promise to deliver a rich and engaging musical experience.

Adding to the glamour and energy of the evening, dancers from the Urban Groove Dance Academy will perform energetic and rhythmic routines, lighting up the stage with their talent and enthusiasm.

Popular DJ Anil will also entertain the audience with his expertly mixed tracks, ensuring that the energy stays high throughout the night.

The event will open at 4 pm with a live brass band performance by Joystar Brass Band from Mangaluru, setting a festive tone for what promises to be an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and celebration.
