Six arrested in Dharmasthala attack on YouTubers case, granted interim bail

Beltangady, Aug 10: Six persons have been arrested in connection with attack on YouTubers on August 6 near Pangala Cross, Dharmasthala.

A case has been registered against the accused for obstructing the police officers while on duty, under Crime No. 47/2025 and investigation launched.

Those arrested are Padmaprasad (32) and Suhas (22) from Dharmasthala, Khalandar Puttumonu (42) from Ujire, Chetan (21) from Kalenja, Shashidhar (30) from Dharmasthala, and Guruprasad (19) from Kalmanka.

They were produced before the court on August 9, which granted them interim bail. The judge has directed all six accused to appear before the Beltangady court on August 11.
