The event was a resounding success, with a great turnout of parents, all eager to contribute to the nurturing of their children’s educational journey.
The proceedings began with a prayer song, beautifully rendered by the KG teachers, setting an atmosphere of reverence and unity. Shanthi graciously welcomed the gathering, which included Leslie Arouza, renowned psychologist and counselor, Sr Rosevera, principal, Sr Dr Prem, administrator, Sr Premal, vice-principal, and the supportive parents.

Sharol introduced Arouza, who, with great poise, shared a wealth of knowledge on the holistic development of children. His words resonated deeply as he spoke about the importance of nourishing food, physical activity, and the invaluable gift of quality family time without the intrusion of mobile devices. He urged parents to embrace their roles as role models and to strengthen the partnership with the school for the benefit of their children’s growth. The session that followed was engaging, with parents eagerly asking questions and receiving insightful responses from Arouza. His practical advice left a lasting impression on everyone present.
Sr Rosevera addressed the audience, emphasizing the need for open communication between parents and teachers. She encouraged parents to approach class mentors with any concerns and reiterated the rules and regulations of the school to ensure a smooth academic year.
The event also included the introduction of the newly elected PTA members, who were welcomed with roses, symbolizing the strong support and unity within the Carmel family. Additionally, the winners of the KG Creative Vegetable Art Competition were honored for their creativity and effort.
Teacher Lara expertly compered the event, and teacher Marina concluded the gathering with a thoughtful vote of thanks.
