Jacinta D’Costa, principal Silas International School, said, “I deem it an honour to be here and celebrate the achievements of the winners. I appreciate the efforts of participants and also congratulate all the winners. I thank Daijiworld Udupi for providing a platform to express knowledge and skills that students develop.”
Mohan Shetty, manager sales and marketing department Kasturba Hospital Manipal said, “Chanaksha Challenge is one of my favourite competitions. While many TV channels air reality shows on dance and acting, only Daijiworld, apart from DD Chandana, telecasts quiz competitions. Such programmes are very important because they help students learn, develop skills, explore new areas, and build reading habits. Knowledge is not something that is gifted; it is something we gain. It is like an open book accessible to everyone. Daijiworld Udupi has provided a wonderful platform, and I hope they continue this initiative. In schools with over 500 students, two are selected to participate, which is commendable. This year, 37 schools participated and 74 students became winners. Along with academics, we need to encourage co-curricular activities. Teachers identify talents, and parents should nurture them. The quiz master conducted the event excellently. I also thank MAHE for supporting and sponsoring this programme.”
Alwyn Danthy, quiz master, said, “On screen, you see me and the competitors, but there are many people working behind the scenes. When this programme was proposed, Daijiworld Udupi studio manager Kevin Rodrigues immediately supported it, and the main reason behind it is director Kishore Gonsalves. With the help of our sponsors, we were able to conduct this programme successfully and offer a cash prize of Rs 18,000. We did not keep negative marking except in one round. When students win, it brings recognition to their institutions. Students from various parts of the twin districts participated, and we have successfully completed this programme.”
Agamsh Shetty, student, Green Park Central School Hiriadka, said, “Firstly I would like to thank my school for providing this opportunity to come and participate in a quiz contest. I gained a lot of information from this contest. I am very happy since we secured first place in this contest.”
Suvyath, student, Green Park Central School, said, “I am very happy to have reached the final round and secured the winners position. My parents, school teachers and everyone supported me. I would like to thank Daijiworld Udupi for providing such an opportunity. We were unaware about the TV studio, this competition provided us with experience.”
Ramith Hegde, student, Dr N Shankara Adyanthaya Memorial English Medium High School Nitte, said, “Our teachers sent our names for this competition. Initially, we did not know how a studio operates, but this experience taught us. Though we scored less in the beginning rounds, we gained more points later and secured second place.”
Likith, student, Dr N Shankara Adyanthaya Memorial English Medium High School Nitte, said, “Today we came second. I may not have given enough effort. Daijiworld has given me an opportunity to show my skills. Quiz master Alwyn Danthy sir kept motivating us even when we were lagging.”

Our students in this year's batch were very intelligent and were more interested in quizzes. They participated in various quiz competitions, therefore we chose two students for this quiz contest. In every round when they got selected to the next round we were happy. Parents and all teaching staff encouraged them. As Kannada Medium students entering into the final round was a proud movement for us. Each round was interesting.”

Daijiworld Udupi has provided such an environment to our children. School teachers also supported our children throughout. Alwyn Danthy is a skilful quiz master.”
