Mangaluru: Sadbhavana Vedike organises Christmas celebration at Aladangady

Mangaluru, Jan 11: Sadbhavana Vedike organised a Christmas celebration at the St Peter Claver English Medium School Hall, Aladangady, on Sunday evening, bringing together members of the local community to mark the festive occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Isaac Puttur, Chandrashekar P K, Balanja, and Fr Elias D’Souza reflected on the message of Christmas and underscored the values of peace, harmony and mutual understanding.

In his address, Subhaschandra Rai, president of Sadbhavana Vedike, stressed that the Vedike should function independently of political influence, and continue its work as a social platform committed to communal harmony.

The programme began with Cyprian welcoming the gathering and introducing the speakers. Victor Crasta proposed the vote of thanks, marking the conclusion of the event.
