Bantwal: Eighth arrest made in Abdul Rehman murder case

Bantwal, Jun 6: In connection with the Abdul Rehman murder case registered on May 27, at the Bantwal rural police station under Crime No. 54/2025, a total of eight arrests have now been made.

The case has been booked under Sections 191(1), 191(2), 191(3), 118(1), 118(2), 109, 103 along with Section 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) 2023. Previously, seven accused individuals had already been taken into custody.

As the investigation progressed, on June 4, police arrested one more accused, Ravi Sanjay (29), a resident of Bettagere in Sringeri. He was produced before the court following his arrest.

The investigation in the case is ongoing, and further legal action will be taken accordingly.

    this seems to be a brainwashed group that killed innocent Abdul Rahiman. Anyway curse of his blood will definitely fall on all those who are involved in this killing. There is no need to take revenge. Almighty Allah will see that none of these will prosper in life.
