May your journey be one of achievement in serving humanity and advancing the field of health,” said Dr Umesh Mahantshetty, director of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Visakhapatnam.
He was speaking after conferring degrees at the 21st convocation ceremony of Yenepoya Medical College (a constituent college of the deemed-to-be university), held at the Endurance Zone in Derlakatte.








































Dr Yogananada Reddy Y C, president of the Karnataka Medical Council and paediatrician at Ballari Prithvi Children’s Hospital, who was the chief guest, emphasised the importance of humaneness and scientific thinking in modern medicine.
Dr M S Moosabba, principal of the medical college, presided over the event. Dr Habeeb Rahman, medical superintendent, administered the oath to the graduating students. Dean Dr Abhay Nirgude was also present.
Dr Prakash Saldanha proposed the vote of thanks.
Following the convocation, a cultural programme was held featuring student performances in dance, music, drama, and other talents.
Yenepoya Medical College, which has received an A+ grade from NAAC and is ranked 95th in the 2024 NIRF rankings, continues to excel in providing quality medical education and holistic student development.
