Kudupu murder case: Five more arrested, total now 20 in custody

Mangaluru, Apr 30: In connection with the murder case registered at the rural police station, Mangaluru city police have arrested five more individuals. These fresh arrests follow the earlier apprehension of 15 accused in the same case, taking the total number of arrests to 20.

The newly arrested accused are identified as Yathiraj from Kaikamba, Sachin from Vamanjoor, Anil from Kulshekar, and Sushanth and Adarsh from Kudupu.

The victim has been preliminarily identified as Ashraf, a resident of Pulpalli Village, Sultan Battery taluk, Wayanad district, Kerala. His family has been informed and is on the way to Mangaluru for in-person identification and completion of necessary formalities.

Investigation is ongoing to determine the involvement of other suspects and to bring all perpetrators to justice informed the police.
