Mangaluru: More than 1,000 students graduate at MAHE's 31st convocation ceremony

Mangaluru, May 17: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Mangaluru an institution of eminence, deemed to be university, one of India's leading research focused educational institutions conducted its 31st edition of convocation on Friday, May 17, at T M A Pai Hall, Mangaluru.

The convocation aims to discuss various aspects of MAHE’s plan to align its academic approaches with the National Education Policy 2020.

Dr H S Ballal, pro-chancellor of MAHE declared the 31st convocation open.

As many as 1061 students graduated at the convocation ceremony among which 784 are from UG, 160 from PG and 117 PhD.































Dr M K Ramesh, vice-chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, Karnataka congratulated all the news graduates and said, "You need to be proud that you have graduated from the esteemed university of MAHE which is always known for its quality education, infrastructure and holistic development. You have been navigated yourself with several projects, industrial visit that gained lot of exposure that helped you to develop knowledge and skills."

He urged students to focus on the upliftment of humanity which will have positive impact.  

Lt Gen (Dr) M D Venkatesh, VSM (Retd.), vice-chancellor of MAHE, Dr Narayana Sabhahit, pro vice-chancellor – Technology & Science, MAHE, Dr Sharath K Rao, pro vice-chancellor – Health Sciences, MAHE, Dr Niti Nipun Sharma, pro vice-chancellor - Strategy & Planning, MAHE, Dr Madhu Veeraraghavan, pro vice-chancellor – Management, Law, Humanities & Social Sciences, MAHE, and Dr Giridhar P Kini, registrar, MAHE were also present.

Dr Dilip G Naik, pro vice-chancellor, MAHE - Mangaluru campus welcomed the gathering and Dr Nanditha Shenoy compered the event.
