Udupi, Apr 27: The EVMs that were used in casting of votes on April 26 are safety deposited in the strong room of St Cecily’s educational institute of the city.
Separate arrangement are made for the EVM machines of four legislative constituencies of Udupi district and four legislative constituencies of Chikkamagaluru district.
Security personnel are deployed for suitable safety of the machines. Armed forces are guarding the rooms.
Deputy commissioner Dr Vidyakumari and SP Dr Arun K were present when the strong room was sealed.
