Muscat, Oman - April 17: The Mangalore Catholic Centre of the Parish (MCCP) Muscat is gearing up for its much-anticipated annual day celebration, set to take place on April 26 at the exquisite Ramee Dream Resort in Seeb, Muscat.
The event promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring a captivating musical show titled ‘musical extravaganza’. Under the leadership of MCCP president Nirmala Goveas and her dedicated executive committee members, the annual day is poised to be a spectacle of grandeur, pomp, and splendour.
The festivities will commence with a high Mass at 8:45 am at the historic Sts Peter and Paul Church in Ruwi, setting the tone for a day of celebration and reflection.
At 4 pm, attendees can look forward to being enthralled by the mesmerising performances of renowned Konkani singers, Velita Lobo and Ashwin D’Costa, whose soul-stirring melodies promise to warm hearts and captivate audiences.
Guiding the evening's proceedings with her vibrant energy will be the dynamic emcee, Sweeny Maria D’Souza, ensuring a night filled with unforgettable moments and joyful celebrations.
Audiences will also have the opportunity to experience one of the most beloved compositions of Konkani music, adding to the magic of the evening.
In addition to the musical extravaganza, MCCP’s Annual Day will feature a power-packed lineup of entertainment, including dance performances, comedy acts, and skits by talented artists from Muscat, promising an evening of laughter and delight for all attendees.
