Udupi, Mar 29: "Newborns are given tickets in Congress. If language is so important, let Congress withdraw all its candidates and give tickets to English professors and Hindi pandits," stated Pramod Madhwaraj, BJP leader and chairman of the campaign committee for the Udupi - Chikkamagaluru constituency.
Speaking at a press conference in the Udupi BJP office on Friday March 29, Madhwaraj said, "K Kamaraj, who studied only up to the 3rd standard, appointed two prime ministers. He never knew Hindi or English. If people from Uttar Pradesh can work in Udupi, Udupi people can also work in Delhi without any language difficulties. How much Hindi or English do Tamil Nadu MPs know?"
"Kota Srinivas Poojary will win this Lok Sabha polls with a remarkable margin of 5 lac votes. BJP party workers have never worked for a caste; they think about the nation and its development. All the people will support Kota Srinivas Poojary this time.

"Five other districts were also created along with Udupi in 1997. When I was the in-charge minister, four new taluks were created. Did I show it off? If he is boasting about this, then it is not an achievement.
"Modi is a necessity today. Only he can unite the 140 crore people. He is asking for 400 seats; I will certify and guarantee that Kota Srinivas Poojary will work excellently," stated Madhwaraj.
"I will work for BJP till my last breath. My aim is to work for BJP against Congress," Madhwaraj reasserted.
