Puttur, Mar 1: Elias Pinto, physical education director at St Philomena College, Puttur was awarded doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree in physical education by Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University,Rajasthan for his thesis titled ‘A STUDY ON THE RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE PEOPLE IN DAKSHINA KANNADA DISTRICT AND THEIR LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC’.
The thesis was done under the guidance of Dr Bapu Narasinga Chougule from the department of physical education at JJT University.
