Mangaluru, Feb 21: John Satya, a 41-year-old, who should have led a happy family life, is passing his days, struggling to survive. He performs his daily chores with much difficulty and most of the time, seeks help from others.

John, originally hails from Shankarapura, Chikkamagaluru. He has been struggling for the past few months, as he is battling cancer. He was ill for a short time and was taken to hospital. After a detailed examination, the doctor confirmed that he is suffering from lung cancer. He has already undergone a surgery and has also received chemo radiation therapy. Now he is scheduled to undergo chemotherapy and immunotherapy regularly.

However, this treatment will cost around Rs 10 lac for the next one year. It is difficult to arrange the huge amount required for his further medication. John's economic condition is also poor and his monthly expenses itself would cost him a huge burden, as he has to undergo chemotherapy and immunotherapy once in every three or two months.
