Manama: Sacred Heart Church hosts Family Day programme

Manama, Feb 15: The Sacred Heart Church in Manama, Bahrain, recently hosted a fun-filled family day event to engage the community in celebration and fellowship. The event, held on February 9, brought together families and individuals of all ages for a day of activities, games, and delicious food.

The event was a huge success, with families from the local community coming together to enjoy a day of fun and camaraderie. Some of the highlights of the event was a fancy-dress competition, for children and was met with cheers and applause from the audience, furthermore there was a cultural parade by the different vibrant communities of the Sacred Heart Church, showcasing their cultures and traditions.

It was a beautiful demonstration of our unity as creations of one God, and a recognition of the multitude of blessings we have received in our lives. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of family day 2024, whether through serving in the stalls or through your hard work and dedication for the betterment of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church," said Fr Victor Prakash OFM Cap spiritual director of Tamil community.

The success of this year’s Family Day event highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for families to come together and strengthen their bonds. The event served as a reminder of the power of community and the positive impact that can be achieved when people come together for a common purpose.
