India aim to seal T20I series with win in final match

Daijiworld Media Network - Hamilton

Hamilton, Nov 1: India will take on hosts New Zealand in the fifth and final T20 International at Seddon Park in Hamilton on Sunday, aiming to end the series on a winning note.

The match is scheduled to begin at 12.30 pm Indian Standard Time, with India leading the five-match series 3-1.

India won the first three matches to establish an unassailable lead, while New Zealand bounced back with a victory in the fourth T20I in Auckland last Friday. The hosts will now look to carry that momentum into the final encounter, while the visitors will aim to register another win and finish the series 4-1.

Following the T20I series, the two teams will face each other in a five-match One-Day International series, beginning on November 4.

The tour will conclude with a two-match Test series, scheduled to start on November 19.
