Udupi, May 30: “Voters who elected Congress party do not speak about the guarantees announced by Congress party in their manifesto as they are sure those will be provided. But the BJP which is corrupt and made false promises, are worried about the Congress guarantees as the BJP will disappear from the state when that happens. Therefore, the BJP dreams of the guarantees even in their sleep,” stated Udupi block Congress committee president Ramesh Kanchan.

He said, “The prime minister had said before the elections that several lacs of crores of black money belonging to Indians are stored in foreign banks. It will be brought back within 100 days of assuming power and Rs 15 lacs each will be deposited to the bank account of every Indian. Two crore jobs will be created for youth. Houses will be constructed for every Indian before 2022. BJP should know that none of those promises are fulfilled even after 108 months of coming to power.

“Looting the people by speaking falsehood is the habit of BJP. Congress does what is assured for the welfare of people. We have done what was said by us in the past and we will do the same in the future also,” he said in a press release.
