Udupi: Woman fleeced Rs 2.52 lac by online fraudster on pretext of providing job

Udupi, Mar 21: A woman was fleeced by an online fraudster on the pretext of providing an online job.

Madhavi was searching for a job. She got a message on her WhatsApp from a stranger, who promised her a part time online job.

The stranger asked Madhavi to send money to various accounts from March 15 to 20 amounting to Rs 2,52,600.

Finally, Madhavi came to know that she was taken for a ride by the cheater and she filed a complaint at CEN police station.
