Looting public money, going to jail is Shivamogga leader’s achievement: Siddaramaiah taunts CM

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Jan 14: "Chief minister (CM) B S Yediyurappa has said that eating beef is the achievement of the Mysuru leader. He has forgotten to say that looting public money and going to jail is the only achievement of leader of Shivamogga," said former CM and leader of opposition Siddaramaiah, taunting CM Yediyurappa on his statement of eating beef on the former.

Siddaramaiah tweeted, "I have not eaten beef till date though Yediyurappa had said that I eat beef. I said that I will eat if I feel like.

"It is funny that Yediyurappa and BJP party members, who are enjoying power after buying MLAs of our party, say that Congress party does not have leaders. It is only Congress which won the legislative assembly elections on its own power and ruled for a complete term of five years. Was Yediyurappa CM for five years?

"Let H Vishwanath remember who got him ticket for Lok Sabha and assembly elections of 2008. As he does not have gratitude, he has not got a minister position."
