Mangaluru, Aug 29: Anish Poojary Venoor who impressed the audience in comedy Khiladi season 1 is one of the talented artists and writers in the film industry hailing from Venur, Mangaluru.

Born and brought up at Moodukodi in Belthangady, he is the son of Kotyappa Poojary and VijayaLaxmi. He completed his primary and high school studies from Belthangady while he did his degree at Vamadapadavu Govt College and did his Master's in Kannada language. Currently, he is teaching at Aaladapadavu Akshara Bharaty Vidhyalaya.

He has acted in various roles, some include Appe Teacher in Tulu. Kanunurayana, I love You, 0% love story in Kannada films. From his childhood, he was interested in acting, dancing and singing, story writing for dramas and plays.



Speaking to Daijiworld with regard to acting and recognition he said, "Acting, dancing and singing, story writing came from my childhood days, I have written Kannada and Tulu poetry, written and composed songs for several dramas and acted in more than 35 dramas. 'Marl Kattochi' is one of the successful dramas in Tulu language which I had written and acted. I have also written the theatrical drama 'Nethra' for which I received state and national awards with 15 shows all over Karnataka and the recipient of good actor awarded for short film 'Antharanga' directed by Smithesh S Barya."

Anish had recently participated in Zee Kannada reality shows Comedy Khiladigalu, Khilady Kutumba, Comedy Khiladigalu championship and received appreciations across Karnataka.

Currently, Anish is busy with Kannada movie ‘Kanasu Maaratakkide’ writing the film script and dialogues besides being the assistant director and acting in the movie which is directed by Smithesh S Barya, music by Manasa Holla. The teaser of the movie was released last week by the Kannada film industry’s popular director Jogi Prem. The teaser released in Bodhi Media channel was viewed by over 35000 views in three days of its release. The teaser received an amazingly positive response from the people. "This is my most exceptional movie, once it gets government approval for movie theatre we will release the movie soon," Anish said.
