Mangaluru, Aug 4: The installation of new office bearers of the Rotaract Club here was held virtually via the zoom app due to pandemic reasons. Nearly 300 members from all over the world participated because of virtual media.

After the welcome and the prayer, the outgoing president Rtr Sheldon Crasta presented the report for the year 2019-20.

Rotary president Rtn Prakashchandra inducted the incoming president Rtr Darryl D'Souza into the office and the outgoing president Rtr Sheldon Crasta handed over the post by collaring and handing over the gavel.

Rotaract chairman PDG MPHF Rtn Dr Devdas Rai inducted the other office bearers by oath-taking ceremony.

Outgoing president of the club, Rtr Sheldon Crasta was felicitated for his outstanding work during his tenure.

Chief guest president of the Rotary club of Mangalore Central Rtn Prakash Chandra and the chairman PDG MPHF Rtn Dr Devdas Rai delivered an inspiring speech.

Toward the end, a formal vote of thanks was presented by the secretary Rtr Chethan.
