Chikkamagaluru, Aug 3: St Mary's PU College, Chikkamagaluru, has been achieving remarkable results since its inception five years back. This prestigious institute has been a dream college for most of the students. The college has proudly declared the spectacular 100% results of II PUC during the year 2020. They have bagged 104 distinctions and 87 first classes among 192 students and have topped the district. Here, they take the privilege to quote some examples of achievers who have excelled exceptionally in the exams of 2020.
The college set an example by creating toppers. Rumiya Tabassum, has bagged 8th rank in the state by scoring 590/600, (SSLC 89.44%). Agna Paul 586/600, (SSLC 92.66%), Sana Hakh 581/600, (SSLC 80%), Ayesha Fathima 581/600, (SSLC 94.70%) and Tanusha R 580/600, have emerged as district toppers. Nithin Patel, who was an average student with 52% during his SSLC, has secured 82% in PUC, Mohammed mohathashim 83% (SSLC 50%), Vidwath Dev 91.83% (SSLC 79 %), Mohammed Rifath 87% (SSLC 69% ), Fazal Ahmed 84.83% (SSLC 68% ), Spoorthi H P 84% (SSLC 60%) and Hima BC 84% (SSLC 68% ) are some of the other examples who have shown remarkable performance compared to their SSLC scores setting an example for the assured success at St Mary’s.

St Mary's PU College students have also excelled in the competitive exams. Out of 55 students who appeared for JEE mains Jan 2020, 49 students have got qualifying marks and Harshitha S M emerged as the district topper. The college provides the best training for competitive exam such as CET/NEET/JEE/KVPY/NATA and CA Foundation courses in the district.
The college is coming up with brand new campus well equipped for uninterrupted education. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, north Indian or south Indian food, transportation for day scholars, spacious well ventilated class rooms with labs and audio visual facilities, green campus that fosters education and environment at the same time are some of the key features.
