Mangaluru: Student of SJEC bags first place in ISTE state-level coding contest HACK 2020

Mangaluru, May 16: Winston Sebastian Pais, a third-year Computer Science and Engineering student of St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), here, brought laurels to the institute by winning the first place in the state-level online coding contest 'Debug Your Lockdown' HACK-2020, conducted by ISTE Karnataka section.

Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Karnataka Section organized this prestigious event completely online, by conducting multiple rounds of online programming tests on the popular online development platform HackerRank. Over 500 students from all over Karnataka participated in this contest conducted under two categories and Winston went onto bag the first place under category 2 that was meant for 3rd and 4th year BE students.

St Joseph Engineering College is proud of this achievement and congratulates Winston on his outstanding efforts.
