Udupi Ganeshotsava Samithi provides free meals to poor

Udupi, Mar 26: In the circumstances of dangerous pandemic coronavirus spreading throughout the country, Udupi Sarvajanika Ganeshotsava Samithi in the cooperation of Ashraya charitable trust is providing free meals to the destitute in Udupi, daily wage labourers and those who are living in tents beside the road.

The meals to about 600 people will be provided from Chandramana Yugadi till Sauramana Yugadi.

Udupi MLA and Suvarna mahotsava samithi president Raghupati Bhat participated in the distribution of meals today and expressed his appreciation about the arrangement. He expressed the desire to be the participant in the service that will be held for next 21 days.
