Mangaluru, Feb 21: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) staged a protest here at Kadri on Friday, February 21 against Amulya Leona Noronha who raised ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogan during an anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC) rally at Freedom Park in Bengaluru.

Addressing protestors, VHP-Bajrang Dal leader Sharan Pumpwell said, “We strongly condemn the slogans raised during the anti CAA-NRC rally at Freedom Park. We are ashamed to tell her name. This indicates the reason behind the protest and mentality of the protestors. We suspect conspiracy of Pakistan and terror organization behind the incident. We demand NIA probe into the issue and also to expel Amulya from the country.”

VHP Bajrang Dal leader M B Puranik said, “Today students are being diverted by some organizations and their mentality have turned against our country and are raising pro Pakistan slogans. There is some conspiracy behind this incident.”

VHP Bajrang Dal leaders Gopal Kuthar, Shivanand Mendon, Puneeth Attavar, Asha Jagadish and others were present.

Thank God, one national flag could be spotted. As usual, saffron colour flags outnumber the national flag.

I think polarisation and counter polarisation process has begun.

I feel since the Ayodhya issue is settled, another issue has been given birth in the name of CAA/NRC/NPR for polarisation and counter polarisation on religious basis.

People are simply falling as a bait on this issue.

I urge people to understand the real subject instead of jumping to conclusion on this issue. Otherwise many will spoil their future and just land in this issue as a bait in the hands of politicians or vested interest leaders.
