Dubai: Gammath Kalavider to present Tulu drama ‘Dada Malapare Aapundu’ on Feb 21

Dubai, Feb 12: Precious Parties in association with Gammath Kalavider, an amateur Tulu drama troupe, is set to present a fun filled Tulu comedy drama, ‘Dada Malapare Aapundu’, written by Naveen Shetty Alake.

After a historic drama ‘Bayya Mallige’ which was presented by Gammath Kalavider in Dubai and in Mangaluru in 2019, will stage ‘Dada Malapare Aapundu’ on February 21 at the Credence High School Auditorium, Al Quoz, Dubai, to mark the ninth anniversary of the troupe.

Brochure and tickets for the new drama were released on February 9 evening at Fortune Plaza Hotel, Al Qusais, Dubai. Patron of Gammath Kalavider Harish Bangera and president Kiran Shetty, along with Sarvotham Shetty (President of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha), entrepreneur Joseph Mathais, Noel Almeda (General Secretary of Karnataka SanghaSharjah), Satish Poojary (Former president of Billawa), Bala Salian (Coordinator Mogaveera) and some other dignitaries were the part of the ceremony.

Vishwanath Shetty, who will be directing the drama ‘Dada Malapare Aapundu’, in his address requested full support and co-operation from the sponsors and Tulu drama lovers for the success of the drama. He also requested the committee members to extend their wholehearted support and co-operation.

President Kiran Shetty welcomed the gathering while Rajesh Kuthar compered the programme elegantly. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Janet Sequeira.
