Udupi: Pejawar Shree initiative - Flood relief material dispatched to Muddebihala

Udupi, Aug 19: The flood relief material that was collected by the devotees of Udupi Sri Krishna Math, well-wishers and citizens, as a part of the operation that is going on under the leadership of Pejawar Sree, to help the victims of the recent deluge that occurred in North Karnataka was sent to Muddebihala of Vijayapura district on Sunday, August 18.

450 kits, which includes clothes worth Rs 3,000 and utensils in each of them, and two tonnes of cow fodder will be distributed in two villages of Muddebihala, which are severely affected by the deluge.

These goods are collected under the coordination of M Raghuramacharya, Diwan of Krishna Math, Vishnumoorthy Acharya, secretary of Pejawar Sree, S V Bhat, Vasudev Bhat Perampalli and Yakshagana Kalaranga.

Social workers Prashant Shetty Anjaru, Satish Kumar, Vasudeva Adiga, Santhosh, Mahesh Kulakarni, Kadiyali Mathr Mandali, women of Yuva Brahmana Parishad and students of the Math helped in preparing the 450 kits.

Vasudeva Bhat, Prashant and Satish have accompanied the vehicle carrying the relief material.
