Israeli national arrested in Anjuna for alleged illegal stay

Mapusa, Oct 4: Anjuna police on Friday arrested 51-year-old Israeli national David Driham, alias Dudu, who is allegedly involved in the narcotics trade, for illegal stay in the country.

Police said Driham, who is currently residing at Pequem, Peddem, in Anjuna, was unable to produce valid travel documents when he was checked by police personnel on Friday morning.

He was subsequently arrested and sent to the detention centre in Mapusa.

Further investigation is underway.
