Bengaluru: B S Yeddyurappa to be chief minister for fourth time?

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Jul 24: The road of government formation has become clear now for BJP after H D Kumaraswamy lost the trust vote and resigned subsequently.

In all probability B S Yeddyurappa, state BJP president, will become the chief minister (CM) of the state for the fourth time.

The legislature party meeting of BJP is slated to be held on Wednesday, July 24 and Yeddyurappa will be elected as the leader of the legislature party. Later he will seek permission from the Governor to form the government.

It is said that B S Yeddyurappa is likely to take oath as the CM on Thursday or Friday after completing the meeting of the BJP legislature party and meeting the Governor. He is expected to prove his majority on the floor of the house on Saturday or Monday.

Next possible steps by BJP:

*July 24: Election of leader of the BJP legislature party.

*July 25: Claim with the Governor to form the government.

*July 25/26: Swearing-in of B S Yeddyurappa as CM.

*July 27/29: Proving of majority by the BJP in Assembly.

Even if he is, his old practices wont work, with Shah and Modi at the helm. If he tries some stunts, he will be jacked in the right place. Unlike Cong who depend on on family, BJP has got candidates to fit in when required.

GOD has blessed the BJP & BSY. BSY was wrongly framed by Lokayukta & the then UPA govt to topple his government, jailed him when he was CM. GOD has certainly punished the trouble makers this time.
Moral of the story is : God will punish the culprits one or the other day.
Siddaramaiah should thank BSY for making him the CM by forming KJP & splitting the BJP votes thereby Congress getting the clear majority back in 2013.
