Dubai: Pak cab driver honoured for returning $21,000 to passenger

Dubai, Jul 19: Shafafet Khan Abdulrashid, a Pakistani driver, was recently honoured by the Dubai Police for returning $21,000 cash, mobile phone, and passports forgotten by a family in his cab. The Al Rashidiya police praised Khan for his honesty.

On behalf of the police, Director of Al Rashidiya police station, Brigadier Saeed Hamad bin Sulaiman Al Malek, thanked Khan for the positive response. While praising Khan for his honesty, the Brigadier informed highlighted importance of collaboration between the community and police.

The police also awarded a certificate of appreciation and a symbolic gift to Shafafet Khan Abdulrashid for his ethical conduct, honesty and good behaviour
