Chitradurga: Four spot deaths in road accident on town's outskirts

Chitradurga, Jul 18: In an accident which occurred in the outskirts of the town on Wednesday July 17, four persons lost their lives on the spot. The accident was the result of collision between a Toyota Innova vehicle and a truck.

The deceased were Manjula, Shobha, Sukanya, and driver of the Innova, identified as Ashok. Pavitra, Shyamalamma, Shreshta (4) and an 18-month-old child survived with injuries. All the deceased and the injured belong to K R Puram Bengaluru, it is gathered. The injured are being treated in the district hospital.
