Udupi, Apr 21: It is reliably learnt that Sri Sugunendrateertha Swamiji, who heads Puthige Math here, has taken a decision on choosing his disciple in order to function as the junior Swamiji of the Math and then become his successor to head the Math after him.
The processes and procedures preceding this process have already begun at the base Math at Puthige near Hiriadka. Sources said that the successor to the current Puthige Swamiji is from Kunjibettu here, who holds engineering degree.
It may be mentioned here that the junior Swamiji of Admaru Math here is also an engineering graduate.
