Mangaluru: Youth dies in accident at Mulky industrial area

Mangaluru, Feb 20: The pillion rider of a motor bike lost his life after the bike in question got involved with a collision involving a tempo near Mulky on Tuesday February 19. The accident happened on the industrial area road at K S Rao Nagar, Mulky.

The deceased was Prakash (23) from Tadavalaga village in Indi taluk, Vijayapura district. Prakash was living currently at Bijapur Colony, Lingappayyakadu, K S Rao Nagar.

Prakash was seated in the pillion of a motor bike driven by a local named Shivaraj (19) towards Kolnadu from his house at Lingappayyakadu, when the accident happened. When the motor bike reached near Sameer factory junction, a tempo which came from the opposite direction, hit the motor bike. Due to the impact of the accident, the bike rider fell into the roadside drain and suffered serious injuries. Shivaraj, who fell to the road, suffered deep wounds in his head and lost his life.

A case about the accident was registered in Mulky police station.
