Mangaluru, Jul 15: In association with Green Milk Concept, Vedamarogya Ayurvedic Hospital conducted a free medical camp for diabetes patients at its premises at Valencia on Sunday, July 15.
Giving the start to the camp, Sachin Nadka MD (Ayu) of Vedamarogya said “Diabetes is a chronic decease and nowadays, majority of people are suffering from this decease. It is common to panic when someone come to know that he is suffering from diabetes.
“Meanwhile, people do not have complete information on diabetes. It always paves way for panic when they come to know that they are suffering from diabetes. By this camp, we are trying to give information about this disease to people and meanwhile suggesting a solution based on Ayurveda.
“Diabetes under control leads to happy and healthy life. We can control diabetes with good habits, exercise and other precautionary methods. There are many medicines in Ayurveda which control diabetes. In this camp, we will give tips to patents on the same.
“Free diabetes check-up, and distribution of medicine is also a part of this camp. In future also, we are planning conduct similar types of camps aiming a healthy society,” he said.
Around 80 patients were present for the camp. Renowned Ayurveda doctors from city participated and gave free consultation to the patients.
