Moodbidri: Separate incidents - two married women go missing

Moodbidri, Jan 22: Two married women went missing in two different cases reported from within the limits of the town police station here.

Manjula (28), residing at Kodyadka within Puthige village, had left her home on January 11, duly telling the family members that she would come back after visiting Gurukul Ashram at Kolar. She neither reached the Ashram nor came back. Her husband, Narayana Rao,  has filed a complaint in the police station here about this incident.

In the other case, Lakshmi Bhat (25) from Kodangallu in Prantya village here, has not been seen since January 19. On January 19, Lakshmi's husband, mother-in-law and two children had left home to visit the local temple. When they came back home from the temple, they found that Lakshmi had gone missing. On the basis of complaint made by her husband, Vishwanath Bhat, a case has been registered in the local police station.Investigation is continuing.
