Mangaluru: Raid on skill game centre at Kankanady - four arrested

Mangaluru, Jan 3: Policemen belonging to Kadri police station conducted raid on a skill game centre functioning near Kankanady market in the city on Tuesday January 2 and arrested four persons.

The arrested persons have been identified as Praveen from Kudlu, Prashanth from Dugarottu in Bantwal, Kishore Suvarna from Kotekar and Raviraj Shetty from Konaje. A sum of Rs 3,950 was seized from the possession of the arrested persons.

The police conducted the said raid based on credible information they gathered. Some people escaped during the raid,it is learnt.

The operation was led by police sub-inspector of Kadri police station, Maruti S V and other personnel under the instructions of inspector, Maruti Naik.
