Mangaluru: Faculty enablement programme on 'Internet of Things' held at NMAMIT

Mangaluru, Dec 27: NMAMIT through Infosys Campus Connect organized a five-day Faculty enablement programme on Internet of Things (IoT) from December 18 to 22.

As many as 50 faculty members (20 internal + 30 external) participated in the programme. Dr Balasubramani, SPoC, Infosys Campus Connect welcomed the participants.

Hari, lead, ETA, Infosys DC, Trivandrum inaugurated the programme. Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, principal gave presidential remarks. Neena Mary Cyriac and Nithyalakshmi P from Infosys DC, Bengaluru were the resource persons. Devidas and Sandeep Kumar Hegde were the staff coordinators.



 

The programme covered the topics like Introduction to IoT, Elements of IoT, IoT Architecture, IoT Kit – Demo, IoT Solutions from Infosys, Edge Networks, Communication Technologies, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, IoT Platforms, Future Trends and Challenges.
