Mumbai, Sep 10: Bollywood actor Yami Gautam Dhar’s upcoming fantasy entertainer Nayyi Navelli has unveiled its teaser ahead of its theatrical release on October 16.

Directed by Balaji Mohan, the film features Yami as a newly married woman whose arrival appears to trigger a series of unusual and chaotic events. While the teaser introduces her as a new bride, it hints that there is more to her character than meets the eye, leaving viewers wondering whether she has a supernatural connection.

Instead of revealing the complete storyline, the teaser focuses on the strange situations surrounding Yami’s character. Confusion, humour and chaos unfold as the circumstances become increasingly unpredictable, while family dynamics appear to form an important part of the narrative.

The film has been written by Himanshu Sharma and Divy Nidhi Sharma and produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma. The cast includes Addinath M Kothare, Anurag Thakur, Sunita Rajwar, Mita Vashisth, Aaditya Kulshreshth, Susmita Mukherjee, Sonal Jha, Suneel Sinha, Prateek Pachori, Akshat Singh, Babita Pandey, Ajay Pal and Neeraj Singh.

Nayyi Navelli brings together fantasy, humour and adventure and marks Balaji Mohan’s latest directorial venture. Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow are presenting the film for theatrical release across India.

The film is scheduled to hit cinemas on October 16 during the Dussehra festive period. The makers have previously described it as a family entertainer, with producer Aanand L Rai suggesting that the story will keep both its characters and audience surprised.

For Yami Gautam Dhar, the film follows her appearances in Haq and Article 370, with the latter earning her a National Award. She was also seen in a cameo in Dhurandhar: The Revenge.

With the teaser keeping the central mystery intact, audiences will have to wait until October 16 to discover the secret behind Yami’s unusual character.
