Mangaluru: Tulu movie 'Ice Cream' to be released in September

Mangaluru, Aug 17: Tulu movie 'Ice Cream', directed by movie journalist of Btv, Venu Gopal Shetty and Mangaluru based journalist Pritham Sagar will be released in September.























Announcing this at a press meet here on Sunday August 16, Venu Gopal Shetty said, "This movie is more than a family entertainer and is a mixture of comedy, action, horror and love. The hero of the movie challenges his friends and takes on a new adventure. What happens next is what makes up the suspense of the movie. The whole movie is based on famous eatable ice cream and hence the movie is named ice cream. This movie has no relevance to Ram Gopal Varma's telugu movie Ice cream or tamil movie Ice cream. The story is entirely different and written by Pritham Sagar."

Pritham Sagar said, "Mangaluru's lovely boy R J Rupesh Shetty and Anvitha Rao will be seen in lead roles and this is their first movie. Dinesh Attavar and Manohar Prasad have played a minor role as guest appearance. Famous artistes of the tulu industry like Chethan Rai, Rohini Jaqagaram are in the cast. Responsibility of the production has been taken on by Navitha Jain and Pritham Sagar. Rajesh Haleangady has done the cinematography. Music is by Madan Mohan and playback music by Diwan Giridar.

The movie has been shot in Mangaluru, Udupi and other places of DK district. The audio release of the movie will be held on August 22 at Government College here. There will be a Mr and Miss ice cream competition at 4 pm followed by the release of the audio.

R J Rupesh Shetty, Anvitha Rao and Rajesh Haleangady were the others present at the press meet.
