Thank you: New hopes rekindle Bhagya's life as help pours in

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore

Mangalore, May 6: Some weeks ago, a tragic explosion as a result of gas leak in an apartment on Kadri Kambala road had left Bhagya devastated. Her young daughter died instantly while her husband passed away sometime later.

She had very little hopes in her life after the twin shocks, and found it difficult to cope with the tragedy. Her son who was seriously injured is being treated in Wenlock hospital.

Thanks to Andrew D'Cunha, a daijiworld well-wisher, who brought the case to our notice personally on seeing her pain, today her hopes have been rekindled to some extent.

Accordingly, daijiworld had published an appeal for help on behalf of Bhagya on April 16, and once again, the generous readers of daijiworld rose to the occasion and contributed to the cause.

Nearly Rs 3.5 lac has been received in her bank account until last week, and contributions are still coming in. This help from unexpected ends have brought a little relief and hope in Bhagya's face. She finds she is not alone in this world, and that there are people who, despite not knowing her personally, have helped her immensely.

Expressing her gratitude, with tears, to all who have helped her, she said, "I am extremely happy to receive such a large amount. I have lost my husband and daughter and all I have left is my son and I have to save him at any cost. People have helped me generously and I have no words to express my gratitude to them.”

Daijiworld takes this opportunity to thank all the readers who financially and morally supported this cause and prayed for Bhagya and her son.

May god bless us all.
