Bantwal: Vincent Pinto sentenced to three years rigorous imprisonment under POCSO

Bantwal, Aug 17: The district and sessions court FTSC-II (POCSO) has sentenced a man to three years rigorous imprisonment under crime registration No. 36/2021,sections 376, 506 of IPC , 4 and 6 of POCSO (special case 79/2021).

Investigating police officer Cheluvaraja P I had submitted a charge sheet to the court against the accused Vincent Pinto alias Vincent Ronald Praveen Pinto.

As the crime has been proven in the court, the accused is sentenced under section 8 of Pocso Act to three years of rigorous imprisonment, slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 and one year’s simple imprisonment under IPC section 506.
