Mumbai: S M Shetty Powai conducts 75th Independence Day Celebration

Mumbai, Aug 15: In Bunts Sangha’s S.M Shetty Educational Institutions we have celebrated the 76th Independence Day. This Independence Day marks a special significance because we are celebrating the completion of 75th Independence, which is referred to throughout India as Azadi Ka Amritmohatsav.

President of Bunts Sangha Chandrahas K Shetty and chairman of PEC B R Shetty hoisted the tricolour National flag along with office bearers and trustees of Bunts Sangha Mumbai and PEC. After the flag hoisting cultural programs and Independent Day speeches were organised in the auditorium.

State Board School, Junior college and Degree College have performed theme based cultural activities.Saumya Pandey student from International School, Dr. Sridhara Shetty, B R Shetty and Chandrahas K Shetty spoke about the importance and relevance of celebrating Independence Day. The cultural programs and the speeches have infact once again ignited the spirit of Patriotism, Unity and Diversity and Oneness.
