Riders gear up for National Motorcycle Racing Championship


Coimbatore, Jun 10 (IANS): Ready for the 2022 challenge, Honda Racing on Friday announced its squad for the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC) and IDEMITSU Honda India Talent Cup scheduled to begin this weekend at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore.

Holding the baton for Honda in the Pro-Stock 165cc category of the national championship will be international riders Rajiv Sethu and Senthil Kumar of IDEMITSU SK69 Honda Racing Team. Taking cues from their previous performances in the national championship along with this year's ARRC experience, both riders are all set to tame the track with their powerful performances. Along with Rajiv and Senthil will be Abhishek Vasudev of ASK Honda Racing Team who entered the world of professional racing in 2010.

The 2022 season of NSF250R Cup will see 11 young riders proving their might in the Moto3 race. Rakshith S. Dave, Johann Reeves Emmanuel, Theopaul Leander from Chennai and Prakash Kamat from Bokaro Steel City have been promoted from CBR150R Cup.

Joining them will be Sarthak Chavan from Pune, Shyam Sundar from Chennai, Samuel Martin and A.S James from Bengaluru, Mohsin P. from Velachery, Raj Dashwanth from Trichy and Vivek Rohit Kapadia from Belgaum.
