Indian Team Winds up Preparatory Camp for World Cup


Bangalore, Feb 12, (PTI) : Pace spearhead Zaheer Khan took the day off but the rest of the Indian squad sweated it out for nearly three hours at the nets on the fourth and final day of the side's World Cup preparatory camp here today. 

Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who skipped nets yesterday, came today and apart from bowling, he also practiced some batting.

The Indian team went about their business in usual manner with a light warm-up followed by a net session for nearly three hours.

As usual Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir took the nets first followed by Yuvraj Singh, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and the rest of the batsmen.

Barring Zaheer all the bowlers went about their mandatory routine under the watchful eyes of bowling consultant Eric Simmons.
