Former Venezuelan president Perez dies

Caracas, Dec 26 (DPA) Carlos Andres Perz, former president of Venezuela, died Saturday in the US city of Miami, his family said.

The 88-year-old ruled the South American nation from 1974 to 1979 and again from 1989 to 1993.
