Udupi, Oct 26: Adarsha Hospital, Udupi, will organise a free Bone Mineral Density (BMD) test on Tuesday, October 27, from 9 am to 3 pm.
The test helps assess bone density and quality and identify the risk of osteoporosis, a condition that weakens bones and increases the risk of fractures. According to the hospital, the test results will be available within just five minutes.
The hospital has urged members of the public, particularly those at risk of reduced bone density, to make use of this free screening facility and take preventive steps towards maintaining healthy bones.
