Kasargod: 42-year-old man dies after tanker rams into bike

Kasargod, Jan 16: A bike rider was killed after a tanker collided with his two-wheeler on Sunday, January 16 near the new bus stand here.

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Majid (42), resident of Nullippadi.

A severely injured Majid was rushed to the nearest hospital but he succumbed to his injuries.

Police have taken the tanker driver into custody.

Majid's body was shifted to the mortuary at Kasargod general hospital. Police said that the body will be handed over to his next of kin after the post-mortem.
