Mumbai: Billava Jagruti Balaga to Organize Indian Folkdance Competitions on Jan 30

Mumbai, Dec 11: The metro based Billava Jagruti Balaga will be organizing Indian folkdance competitions on Sunday January 30 at 3.00 pm for the members of Tulu – Kannadigas’ Associations as part of Balaga’s decennial celebrations.

The competitions will be held at Sir Vishveshvarayya auditorium of Karnataka Sangh, Matunga, here on Sunday. The each of Tulu – Kannadiga Associations can enroll a group to compete in the Indian folkdance competitions. The first winning group will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a Billava Jagruti Balaga trophy. The second winning group will be awarded Rs 5,000 cash and third winning group and runner up will be awarded Rs 2,500 each.

A maximum of 15 groups can compete in the folkdance competitions. Those interested to enroll their groups can send their entries latest by January 15 to
