Karnataka's daily Covid tally crosses 14,000-mark, five deaths in last 24 hours

Bengaluru, Jan 11: Karnataka on Tuesday, January 11 registered 14,473 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 73,260. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 10,800.

As many as 5 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Tuesday, the death toll in the state has risen to 38,379.

The state recorded 1,356 discharges from hospitals on Tuesday, taking the total discharges to 29,66,461.

So far, Karnataka has seen 30,78,129 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 10.3% while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.03 %.

As many as 9,02,73,109 people have received vaccination so far.

    Manipulative figures to create panic & make money. This is routine every year starting months. No country in the world makes such a melodrama like in our country.     If we take one vaccine for 1 virus, what will be our body's condition within few years. All drug mafia... Please dont force vaccination on kids

    Out of these,how many r really covid or common cold,as if one child gets, mostly it spreads to other and also at home...2 to4,5-6-7 days runny nose.....now it is named corona!!!!

    Since asymptomatic people are not tested, god only knows what the actual number of infections is.
